  • Abstract
    We propose a novel method of carrier-phase estimation for digital coherent optical receivers, which is based on the decision-feedback loop and the adaptive-equalization algorithm. 10-Gsymbol/s QPSK and 16-QAM signals are demodulated by the proposed method.
