Abstract
This paper proposes a new mathematical model for an isolated generation and motion system, which is characterized by the use of induction machines. The main applications are related with motion control in isolated power systems. An analytical analysis of the steady state performance of the generation system model is presented. Computer simulation and experimental results confirm the validity of the model developed in this work
