Abstract :
The problem of fault-tolerant control for a certain kind of multi-time-delay continuous systems is analyzed. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, the sufficient conditions of the systems with fault-tolerance under sensor or actuator failures are given respectively. Then, using optimal control theory, the design method of fault-tolerant controller is presented. Considering the uncertain parameters of practical systems, the sufficient conditions are generalized to uncertain multi-time-delay continuous systems, and the robustness of the fault-tolerant controller is enhanced. Finally, an illustrative example is also given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method of this paper, and single-time-delay systems and multi-time-delay systems are compared
