  • Abstract
This work investigates a differentiated resilience scheme for anycasting flows in the context of an MPLS network. The proposed resilience scheme allows anycast flows to survive both link and server failures. Three classes of survivability are considered (dedicated protection, shared protection and restoration). The performance of the different traffic classes is examined through simulation. Performance is compared with and without the rerouting algorithm. The effect of deploying different number of servers is also examined.
