Abstract
Cognitive radio (CR) has been identified as a new paradigm for the telecommunication world. It is based on the existence of SDR architectures which enable dynamic reconfiguration thanks to their flexibility and agility. In the context of a CR transceiver we propose to use dynamic partial reconfiguration of FPGAs in order to obtain an enhanced wide band software radio platform and improve resource utilization on a single chip.
