Abstract :
In this paper we focus on two problems for linear descriptor system. Firstly, we study the problem of H2 analysis. The necessary and sufficient LMI conditions are first presented, which guarantee the admissibility and H2 performance of the systems. Moreover, the observer-based H2 suboptimal control problem is discussed. The necessary and sufficient condition is obtained from the solutions of the observer-based H2 suboptimal control problem using a matrix inequality formulation. All H2 observer are characterized by a parameterization
