Abstract :
The paper presents the principle of fuzzy-observer-based residual generator design for a class of continuous-time nonlinear systems represented by Takagi-Sugeno models, and measurable, as well as unmeasurable premise variables. The conditions are outlined in the terms of linear matrix inequalities to possess a stable structure closest to optimal asymptotic properties. Simulation results illustrate the design procedures and demonstrate the basic performances of the proposed residual generator structures.
