  • Abstract
    An AC servo system based on fuzzy logic controller technique is proposed for induction motor drive with PWM inverter. A PC-based fuzzy logic controller which converts linguistic control rules into automatic control strategy is presented. The proposed fuzzy controller and PWM inverter can control a 3-phase induction motor speed with fast response and good stability. A prototype is implemented to examine the performance of the proposed system. Speed responses of a realized system are investigated. Using the proposed fuzzy logic controller and PWM inverter, a well-performed induction motor speed drive can be implemented with significantly less circuit complexity
