  • Abstract
    In this work, by numerical simulation using a commercial CFD (computational fluids dynamics) code, were obtained the velocity fields and thermal fields, inside of an indirect type natural convection solar food-dryer. For validating the numerical simulation, was developed an experimental model of an indirect type natural convection solar food-dryer. The food-dryer was instrumented with thermocouples located in different positions inside of the solar collector, besides, it was used infrared lamps, for having a constant radiation heat transfer.
