Abstract
Fluorescently doped liquid crystal microdroplets were used as electric-field tunable spherical microresonators. The droplets were embedded inside a polymer and sandwiched between two electrodes. By applying voltage we were able to tune the WGM peaks by almost 20 nm, exciding the free spectral range of the resonator.
