Abstract
This paper presents a low-complexity baseband real-time DSP implementation of a non-coherent multiuser receiver for DS-CDMA. The joint detection strategy employed by the receiver is based on parallel partial interference cancellation principles. The implementation is suited for mobile wireless environments since it does not require a coherent phase reference and its computational complexity is linear in the number of users. Preliminary baseband test results of the real-time system show substantial improvements over the conventional receiver
