Abstract :
The analysis of some shipboard HF antennas is quite complicated. This contribution shows the numerical and experimental results obtained for the rather realistic configuration formed by a twin fan antenna and a monopole centered on the top of a conducting box, both antennas being on an infinite conducting ground plane. Calculations and measurements are in very good agreement. The computer code PDMPH2 (wire modelling) has been used. The experiments have been performed in an anechoic chamber
