Abstract :
A Wireless Sensor Network consists of sensor nodes deployed in an environment for collecting and transmitting data regarding changes in the environment based on the requests from a controlling device called sink using wireless communication. In Wireless Sensor Networks the process of dissemination of data among various sensor nodes is called broadcast and collection of data from all sensor nodes is called convergecast are common communication operations. In this paper a Neural Network approach is proposed to find the efficient convergecast route from sensor nodes to sink. The Hop Field Neural Network (HNN) used to find the convergecast route found efficient in minimizing power, band width, and time delay of the network.
