Abstract :
This paper describes a location-based services prototype that has been developed based on IMS and LOCSIP. The paper provides a brief overview of the prototype´s capabilities, and illustrates how it has been used for rapid development of extended network services supporting first-responders in an emergency. Interoperability testing is discussed, and a set of lessons learned are presented.
