  • Abstract
Social networks have made a significant impact on how today´s Internet users communicate, search for and share data. Numerous proposals have been made to improve existing distributed systems by leveraging the inherent trust built into social links. Some researchers believe that augmenting online marketplaces with social networking should improve trust between transaction partners and improve user satisfaction. In this paper, an E-market model via Social Networks was suggested to provide a technique by which the buyers could find the sellers by using social network and vice verse, and communicate with each other directly. The design research methodology “Improvement Research” was adopted in this research as shown in Figure 2. To illustrate the potential of this research approach, conceptual framework was suggested and prototype for E-market using social network model was developed. The initial results show that those who transact with friends of friends generally obtain significant benefits in the form of higher user satisfaction.
