Abstract
The authors discuss the microscopic picture of local deformation and yield or related macroscopic observations to the properties of the polymer network or the presence of network defects and microvoids. They report briefly on attempts to do this using laser light scattering from ultra-clean epoxy resins under stress-free conditions and also when subjected to uniaxial tension and divergent field electrical stressing
