Abstract :
MFP is usually used to passively localize an underwater fixed source in wave-guide environments which has many civilian and military applications. But how to localize and trace a moving source is a new and difficult topic for it. This paper puts forward a signal processing scheme to combine the Doppler shifted frequencies estimate and the normal mode theory, and then, uses MFP to localize and trace a moving underwater source.
