Abstract :
This paper presents a new implementation of a modeling and simulation framework based on the DEVS formalism. This framework uses rapid prototyping, interactivity and a reflective interface to provide a high degree of dynamism during the design of systems. It utilizes exploratory programming techniques as well as the flexibility of prototype based object oriented programming. We are focusing on the description of the core part of our framework, discussing its advantages compared with other frameworks. We present some examples of application, too.
