Abstract :
This paper proposes a theoretical model of high frequency coupling on cables running in an electrically large enclosure. This model is basically derived from the transmission line theory in which a statistical representation of the incident electromagnetic environment is added. Numerical examples put to the fore the contribution of each electrical and geometrical characteristic on the cable response and the contribution of the statistical properties of the electromagnetic environment around the wire.
