Abstract :
Torness Power Station and the associated transmission system consists of a 132 kV double busbar substation, a 400 kV mesh substation and a nuclear power station with two advanced cooled reactors driving two 685 MW turbogenerators. The author provides an insight into the commissioning of protection for both the substations and power station.
