Abstract :
Gyrotrons have proven to be reliable sources in high power and high frequency applications. All modern day gyrotrons employ internal converters to convert the cavity interaction mode to a Gaussian output beam. To verify the design and implementation of the internal converter in cold test, a mode generator is needed. This paper describes the design and implementation of a TE22,6 mode generator at 95 GHz.
