Abstract :
In this article, a novel microstip-fed dual band-notch UWB antenna is proposed. Two notched bands (5.1GHz-6.1GHz and 8GHz-9GHz) are achieved based on embedded SRR and 7-shaped resonator, respectively. The proposed antenna is of compact size, tunable notched bands and omnidirectional pattern. The VSWR in working band is less than 2 except notched bands. At last, the antenna is fabricated; the measured results show reasonable agreement with simulated ones.
