Abstract
An accurate and practical method is proposed to predict the loop gain of buck converters with limited knowledge of their control circuits. This approach models the control circuits of buck converters as a simplified linear system based on a few measurements. Compared with other prediction methods, this approach obtains accurate loop gain Bode plots with much less information. Detail procedures of this method are presented with an example. The predicted results are in close agreement with the experimental results.
