Abstract :
Based on the theory of mode coupling, 3 mm band second-harmonic complex cavity gyrotron inner TE03-TE02-TE01 mode converter and collectors are discussed in detail. Adopting structure of corrugated waveguide with radius tapered and different phase rematch technique, the reliable optimal geometry parameter can be obtained. Corrugated waveguide mode converter of 94 GHz gyrotron are designed with tight and high efficiency, and the burned patterns measured at the ends of converter are produced by the gyrotron.
