  • Abstract
    We study the problem of optimally setting the reactive power compensation and bus voltage regulation. To be able to solve the problem for realistic cases, we utilize the technique of artificial immune algorithm (AIA) to generate an optimal or near optimal control strategy for reactive power compensation and bus voltage regulation. A realistic case is tested to demonstrate the effectiveness and highly efficiency of the proposed approach.
