Abstract
According to the concept of phase matching bandwidth the band width of broadband source by using retracing behavior of collinear quasi-phase-matching (CQPM) optical parametric generator (OPG) in periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) is presented firstly. Comparing the various pump wavelengths we obtain the pumping condition and parameters of PPLN to realize the broadband source near 1550 nm in the CQPM-OPG. In theory we present the optimum pump wavelength and the maximum ideal bandwidth range to be 940.75 nm and 1475~1681 nm respectively.
