Abstract

The research of face recognition technology in this paper is developed towards face detection technology of skin color segmentation and face geometrical characteristics. In addition, a software system that takes advantage of facial recognition to recognize the number of people is designed. The software is mainly composed of image pre-processing, skin color region detection, morphological processing, and recognizing the number of people. The largest advantage of the face recognition system is that it can recognize the number of people in the picture accurately.
