Abstract :
A new PWM inverter system with specified output voltage waveform is proposed. The inverter can be used as a specified waveform voltage source in any harmonic effect testing system of electric apparatus. The fundamental behavior and characteristics of the prototype PWM controlled SI thyristor inverter are discussed with the experimental and analytical results
