Abstract
This paper proposes a method that is based on text-edge detection to improve Hough transforming text tilt correction. It achieves quick correction for high-resolution images by lowering the resolution step-by-step. Meanwhile, it adopts a bi-cubic interpolation algorithm to avoid distortion during the rotation. The result of experiment shows that the algorithm has improved the accuracy and efficiency of calibration better.
