Abstract :
In this paper, the basic signal model of SAR is discussed. According to the model, a new method of Doppler frequency rate estimation for SAR is proposed. At the same time, theoretical analyses and simulation results are given. In addition, we give the Doppler frequency rate estimation using the airborne SAR experimental echo data. In the end, the image of the SAR is obtained for the estimated Doppler frequency rate. The simulation results and the images prove that the method can make blind processing SAR raw data and can efficiently estimate Doppler frequency rate, and show that the precision of estimation is high.
