Abstract :
Aiming at the problems of the falling decoded video quality of H.264/SVC (Scalable Video Coding) in the error prone transmission network, this paper proposes real-time feedback-based interactive error control methods suitable for low bit rate transmission. These methods make full use of the inter-layer prediction of spatial layers, improves the conventional feedback-based intra macro block (MB) update and references picture selection (RPS) error resilience techniques. The methods were tested using SVC common test conditions. Simulation results show that the average Y-PSNR of decoded pictures can achieve around 1.78dB gains using the best proposed method compared with the relative methods.
