Abstract
The integrated management of a hospital unit represents one of the most basic and important tasks which directly affect the operation of the unit. The application of information technologies can aid the design of optimal strategies in management, by providing services with greater efficiency, not only from the point of view of management, but specially in health care delivery. The design of an application that allows the integrated management of a burn unit is reported. Starting with the problems associated to the current procedures, technical solutions are found from the requirements demanded by the specialists.
