Abstract
LED lighting has been used for illumination in a long history. Using spectrum control through LED colour mixing and colour control, the spectrum of the light can be adjusted and hence the performance of the illumination can be controlled. Using this method, the illumination spectrum can be adjusted during the day and night. It is also shown that this will have benefit to breast cancer and depression. The paper has examine the use of refreshing rate of retina in order to reduce the power consumption of LED by using reduce duty ratio operation of LED driver. Some saving of energy can be observed.
