Abstract :
In the coordinated control mode of the boiler following the turbine, the boiler steam pressure of a power plant is a process of an integrator plus delay time. To control it, the Smith predictor and its modified versions show poor robust stability, or result in steady error when constant load-disturbance occurs. So, the compound control of load disturbance compensator and predictive PI is proposed. The predictive PI is used to stabilize the system and to get a satisfactory servo response. The load disturbance compensator is applied to eliminate the effect of the load disturbance. The strategy has a simple structure and only two physically meaningful tuning parameters. And the parameter tuning process can be relatively separated. The system shows the excellent control performance under model mismatching and load disturbing in the simulations
