Abstract :
Hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) based on an electromagnetic continuously variable transmission (ECVT) system and its working principle; operating modes and power flow are established in this paper. According to internal combustion engine optimal operation line, energy management strategy based on the logic threshold control method is put forward. The torque and rotating speed difference distribution of the internal combustion engine and ECVT are controlled reasonably in order to achieve the dynamic switching among the different operation modes. The results of simulation based on 10.15 driving cycle are compared. It is showed that the whole ECVT system can run in high efficiency regions under the designed energy management strategy.
