Abstract
In process control industry, the production load should be regulated automatically with the demand-side fluctuation of market. However, the regulating course is a very complex for the large and complex petrifaction equipment. In the paper, aiming at the load control problem of butadiene product equipment of Yangzi Petrochemical Corporation, a load automatic control system was designed, and realized successfully on the DCS system. The system firstly used the configuration function of DCS to made models connected and configured, and then adopted sequence control strategy and expert system strategy to achieve automatically the up-down course of the whole load. The system has resolved successfully problems such as producing situation fluctuate, even creating accident when the load was regulated frequently. Which has important function on reducing operation intensity, stabilizing work state, increasing available produce time and receding accident ratio
