Abstract
A parallel-connected twin-junction (PCTJ) is designed to resonate at 850GHz with a 3D electromagnetic (EM) field simulation software. The kinetic inductance of superconducting microstrip line is counted by assigning the boundaries with proper complex surface impedances. With such a realistic model of PCTJ, the effects of parasitic inductance around SIS junctions can be properly taken into account. The method can be applied for any complicated superconducting RF circuit design.
