Abstract :
Computer generated diffractive optical elements have been written in binary form in chrome on glass using the electron beam facilities at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in the UK. Some of the properties of polygonal elements are considered. These elements have been used as masters for subsequent copying into DCG to obtain higher diffraction efficiencies
