Abstract :
We proposed a novel "organic nanotube (ONT) nanopipette" and showed the spout of the fluorescent solution from the ONT nanopipette. In this paper, the proposed nanopipette is mathematically modeled to clarify the mechanism. The spouted volume is estimated based on the finite element analysis. The flow rate of the spout by electro-osmotic phenomenon is estimated at 0.75 fl/s. This result shows the possibility to control the local environment of the inside of bacteria whose volume is several femto liters or more by the control of the spout in millisecond order.
