Abstract
As technology has advanced and become more sophisticated, so has the number of cyber criminals. This trend will undoubtedly continue. Hacking for XDCC (Xabi DCC or extended DCC) bots through IRC (Internet relay chat) is one of the highly weighted cyber crimes and is a nightmare for ".edu" administrators. In this paper, I will describe exactly what is happening, how this is being done, and who these people behind all of these attacks are. I will also show tricks how to check if you are a victim and how to prevent your network from attackers
