  • Abstract
    Aiming at the production technical process of mineral processing and features of production management considered, this paper takes a thorough research on manufacturing execution system of mineral processing enterprise and the two layers integrated automation system, proposes the framework and system function of manufacturing execution system to realize the optimization of mineral processing production indexes and design a manufacturing execution system which takes plan scheduling as main line and cost control as the core to realize the optimization of mineral processing production indexes. The MES that adopting this method is realized the integration of management and control. This system has been applied to the minerals processing plant of an iron and steel company and the production efficiency is increased. The successful implementation of this system has explored a new method for the overall optimization of the large systems in the process industry
