Abstract :
A distributed control system is presented, which is used to test electrical machine´s parameters and characteristics. The system consists of auxiliary and local monitoring stations. The local station exchanges information with data-collector through serial bus RS232. And the auxiliary station communicates with other local monitoring stations through Ethernet. The system realizes mainly five functions: data acquisition, remote supervisory and controlling, parameters calculation, storing and retrieving data, and curve fitting. An idea of inserting an intermediate layer between protocol layer and logic layer to uniform software interface is proposed. At last, expansibility and reusability of software are also studied.
