Abstract :
The possibility of making the hydroxyapatite-based coatings on the titanium with the use of Na2O-SiO2-P2O5 type of glasses has been investigated. The coatings ceramic phase, predominantly consisting of hydroxyapatite, was obtained from reagents and natural bones. In coatings, these glasses provide both the biochemical and the technological functions.
