  • Abstract
The results of the development and investigations of the "submicrocrystalline (SMC) bulk titanium - calcium-phosphate (Ca-P) coatings" composite for orthopaedy are given in this report. These composites have valuable physical-chemical and biological properties: high adhesion, chemical-firmed, high biocompatibility and bioactive. The phase and element compositions of Ca-P coatings have been tested by transmission (TEM) and scanning (SEM) electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction. Also, the composites biological properties have been tested by standards methods. These composite can be used in medicine for orthopedic implants.
