  • Abstract
A novel continuously dripping liquid-injection automatic balancing head and its main performance characteristics were introduced. A simulative study that imitated the case of 1-side wearing and 2-sides alternating wearing of a grinding wheel indicates that this kind of balancing head can correct big unbalance with satisfactory responding speed and accuracy. And in the case of 2-sides alternating wearing, as proven by simulation result, continuously-dripping balancing head can work for virtually unlimited time without becoming full and losing its adjusting ability. If prolonged nonstop running is required, this makes it preferable to conventional liquid-injection balancing head, which may become full after repeated adjusting for a number of times
