Abstract :
With the rapid progress of femtosecond laser technology, femtosecond laser pump-probe technology has been introduced into the domain of ultrafast measurement in material science. Tb0.3Dy0.7Fe2 giant magnetostrictive thin films were prepared by DC magnetron sputtering. A femtosecond laser experimental device has been designed to investigate optical and terahertz (THz) dynamic response property of TbDyFe thin films. Time-resolved reflectivity and transmissivity of these thin films have been measured with different experimental parameter. The experimental results reveal that the ultrafast process in thin film occurs in picoseconds scale and strongly affected by the pump pulse fluence and wavelength.
