  • Abstract
    Describes a new approach for a decision feedback equalizer (DFE) using the multi-layer perceptron structure for equalization in digital communications systems. Results indicate that the multi-layer perceptron DFE provides better BER (bit error rate) performance relative to the standard least mean square DFE structure, especially in high noise conditions
