Abstract
Large amount of output of Russian mineral resources industry is not accompanied by the economic growth of territories containing the mineral resources. One of the reasons is a nonuniform development of various industries and the prevalence of mineral industries. Sustainable development of the regions needs the long-term strategy that provides the economic growth. Various factors affect the regional economy by different ways in short term and in long-term prospects. In this paper, the model of long term strategy development evaluation is suggested.
