Abstract
Parallel coordinate is a kind of technology used extensively in data visualization. To enhance its visuality, we present a color proportion method to distinguish crossing poly-lines, central angle mapping method to exhibit information distribution, and axes changing in equivalently showing the detailed information in the key area. Color proportion method judges the corresponding relation of straight lines between next region and in previous region according to the line color composition in next region. Central angle mapping method shows information distribution on multi-dimension under certain condition, translate the proportion of one group occupying in one dimension to the size of central angle. The axis is changing inequivalently, through managing multiple focal levels, can fully utilize axis space, keeping overall information while observing detailed information of key area. The experimental results indicate that the method can get better visual result.
