Abstract :
A sensorless control method of permanent magnet synchronous motor for direct torque control that based on extended Kalman filter is presented in this paper, which realizes the estimation of the stator magnetic flux and rotor speed. The initial position of rotor is not demanded for extended Kalman filter which is necessary in direct torque control. The method improves the correctness of the stator magnetic flux observing as well as the robustness to parameters changing and load disturbing. The validity of design is proved by simulation results
